Sheila Horn D.O.
Sheila Horn attended medical school at Michigan State University, and performed her residency at NYU’s Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. She is also a certified acupuncturist, and incorporates the best of complementary and alternative medicine to her rehabilitation and pain management practice.
Her areas of interest are musculoskeletal and neurogenic pain, neck and back pain, rehabilitation of joint replacements, arthritic and rheumatologic disorders, pain treatment for pregnant and nursing mothers, and rehabilitation of sports injuries.
She is editor of Practical Manual of Rehabilitation Medicine, published by Mosby books. Dr. Horn has been on the faculty of the NYU School of Medicine since 1995 and serves currently as Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Rehabilitation Medicine.
